Strengths: Good use of continuous colour, text and graphic patterns.It is good how there is a clear page number showing what page each article can be found on. The incorporated black and blue graphic pattern used on the models lips and nails connects the image and the page layout well.The editor message shows realism of a magazine.
Areas to improve: the large Electra masthead looks more like a feature for a front cover instead of a contents, maybe if you swapped the word Electra with the word contents underneath it would make it clearer that the page is a contents page. 

Strengths: Layout looks aesthetically pleasing; colours complement each other, animal print adds interest. The boxes section different aspects of the magazine from each other. Also it follows the typical conventions of a contents page.
Areas to improve: The title may be slightly too big and almost looks like a masthead, maybe it should be slightly smaller to make room for the rest of rest of the text and images as they should be the main focus of the page.

Strengths: The layout is good and conventional. The colour scheme is good. The images are interesting. 
Areas to improve: I do not think that it needs any improvements.
